AM - 1 hour of cycling on the TT bike - reasonable effort of 20 miles - then transitioned to a run of 5.5 miles.  Really stuggled with the heat/humidity on the run this morning as I got a later start than expected.  Kept it under 8 mins per mile, but just barely.

Got the even 70 I see. Long run on tap for tomorrow?

Yep - was planning to got a little bit longer, but wasn't feeling it this morning on the run. Was originally planning to do a half marathon time trial on the treadmill tomorrow, but may do a long run of 20 instead. Thoughts?

If you feel up for it you should go for the half-marathon time trial thing. Tack on a warm-up and a cool-down and you've got a real quality workout. It's just early August, you have plenty of time for the 20 milers. Focus on speed and do some racing.

Get all your mental prep right tonight. Eat well, maybe wear flats and let it rip.
