6 or so miles on the treadmill this morning at the YMCA before work.  Tight schedule today - but did 3 of the 6 miles at 5:50 or better pace - with about a 2-3 min in between each one for recovery at 7:40 pace.  Very manageable.  Muscle memory in my legs seems to have finally transitioned from cycling to running today.  Felt great.

PM run - 4 miles easy to flush out any kinks and / or lactic acid.  Daughters made talapia, green beans and cheese grits for dinner --never had cheese grits before.- quite good!

Welcome aboard! Nice to almost visit in Gville this weekend. The boy and I ran San Felasco on Fri morning. I thought we had big deer in Tally - pretty sure we spooked a boar as well. Check it out when you visit again - if you haven't already.

Never heard of San Felasco, will need to check it out - perhaps on parent's weekend this fall. Thanks.

Hey Bret! Having you on the blog will make it easier to do a back-and-forth about workouts.

I'll have to comment on your cycling culture email later. It will take me hours.
