AM - 3.25 miles very easy in the neighborhood with Finn before church.

PM - 10 miles on the treadmill in the afternoon to avoid the heat outside and to keep my effort at a true long run heartrate.   Achilles pain returned yesterday afternoon after the morning long tempo-ish effort with Greg and some extended yard work.  Had to grind through some discomfort a few moments here and there - but I was watching the 15th stage of the Tour and watching as the riders experienced their own discomfort on the mountain stage and it seemed to elicit a misery loves company type of response which aided my run; which is not to say the run was miserable, just a few points in time where the tendon discomfort was more noticeable than others.

Also, watching the Tour when it makes its way through the different climbs in the Alps reminds me of the cycling tour I did over 10 years ago in that region - and I love it when the days' stage may include a climb or a town that I rode in that region.  Today's stage was one of those Les Gets, Closes, Forclaz around Lake Annecy and Col des Aravis were featured.  Great memories.
