PM - Tropical Storm Zeta was coming through in the morning and it had surprisingly high winds with lots of trees uprooted or snapped and power lines downed so I stayed indoors. Actually just stepped on the treadmill when the power went out. We were without power for about 7 hours - but others, including my daughter's family won't be restored until Sunday evening - so they stayed with us.

Got out for a brief run this evening to keep my streak of no days off (with at least a 3 mile run) since the start of COVID (March 1). Lots of debris and damage from fallen trees all over the neighborhood. My yard only had debris - but two large trees on the wooded area of my property were down. Probably won't do anything about removing those. The tree service companies are quite busy and charging premium rates anyway.

AM - 5.25 miles with Dan and our dogs. Dan's house and his side of the neighborhood are still without power this morning. Winds are still high and gusting, but I think that's from a cold front coming through. Will have plenty of yard clean up on my to do list this weekend.

AM - just shy of 7 miles with Dan, Grag and our 3 dogs on the trails of Summit, Wood and Brittle. Crisp fall temps and great conversation - enjoyable way to start the day.
