AM - roughly 7 miles this morning in St. Pete - mostly on the bayfront and Snell Isle. Quite warm and sticky out this morning.   Daughter had surgery yesterday which is the reason we are here - rather involved procedured called a maxillary osteotomy - which basically means they reposition her upper jaw and move it forward to properly align with the lower jaw - involves cutting bones and fastening them back into place and then "wiring" (elastics) her mouth shut for several weeks.  Her treating physician is located here and was treating her before our move and so rather than re-establish with a new doc, she had the work done here.  Long day yesterday of getting up at 4 am and then hanging out at the hospital all day and into the evening for her recovery.  Everything went well.  Recovery will be tough and painful, but she's doing very well today - and will out out of the hospital tomorrow.
