Long-Term Running Goals:
Continue to enjoy running and racing as long as my body permits me.
Old guy - been running for 40+ years.
PM - 17 miles on the treadmill. First 10 miles at long run pace ~ 8:40 pace then 4 miles at MP which was around 7 min pace then 2 miles at 10k pace around 6:40 pace and a 1 mile cool down. Good effort.
AM - 1.5 mile walk wiht Finn before work. Planned day of rest/no running.
AM - 5 miles easy with Finn before work.
AM - 3.1 miles with Finn before work. Supposed to travel to Tampa later today- but it may get canceled.
PM - treadmill tempo- 6.5 miles at 6:43 pace after a 1.5 mile warmup and then followed by a short cool down. Good workout.
AM - very easy active recovery effort with Finn. Cool enough to see my breath - finally fall.
PM - 6 miles with Finn just before dinner time. I was thinking about not running today - but couldn't do it.
