PM - 5 miles on the treadmill at work. Still have this lingering cold - which kept me up much of the night coughing...Tomorrow's weather forecast has a winter storm warning and schools are closing. 1-2 inches of possible accumulations. But its ATL - so its a big deal.

It always seems laughable to people in snowier climates but when your cars aren't equipped with the right tires, you aren't used to handling a vehicle, and you don't have proper snow removal/maintenance vehicles, it makes a huge difference.

Absolute correct - where it is routinely addressed with the proper equipment - no problem; but in areas of the country where it is a rare occurrence - 1-2 per year or even not every year it can be a much different issue.
