AM - before work at the gym - treadmill run with "hills" - sort of a fartlek workout.  2 mile warm up at 7:30 pace and then 4 miles of off and on increased grades up to 3% for 3 mins on and a couple of mins off to get a sense of rolling hills for the race next month.  2 mile cool down.  Nice weather coming in for the weekend - will plan to do my last long run outside on Sunday - 3 weeks out.  Felt a little tired today perhaps from the core work last night.  Starting a pre-taper to stay ahead of fatigue after this week.

Good mix of workouts this week Bret. I wish I could join you for your long run this weekend.

Legs are still a little sore. I plan to go for a long walk this afternoon and, hopefully, a little run tomorrow.

Thanks Rob - Richie has essentially imposed himself and taken in the task of personalized training for me over the last few weeks. Gotta say, it helps not to really think about what to do in my training if I just follow recommendations. Let's me just focus on running.

Would love some company on the long run to pass the time Rob. Hope your legs recover enough to run a bit this weekend.
