AM - long run 20 miles - longest since running Boston in the Spring.  Not very fast, but felt reasonably solid.  Humid out.  Not Florida humid, but enough to make my shoes sound squishy around 14 miles.

AM - Between 4.5 and 5 miles this morning.  Took it very easy - but really no issues, aches or pains from the long run yesterday.

PM - 6.5 miles at lunch - Planned to run longer but was short on time.

AM - 7 miles before work.  Long day yesterday and was too mentally exhausted to get in a second run.  Probably for the best though, because I felt much better this morning after a good night's sleep.

PM - 6 miles or so after work.  Much slower and weaker feeling.

AM - between 4-5 miles.

PM - 9 miles - on the treadmill workout.  3 mile warm up then 10 x 2 mins on/2 mins off; then 8 x 1 min on/ 1 min off - with a short cool down.  Good workout.

AM - 7 miles around Hyde Park this morning.  Tracy headed back to the states.

 

PM - 10 miles after a day in Colchester for a client meeting.  Nice evening to run along the river.

PM - 10 miles in Amsterdam - mostly around the Old Town and along the Amstel River.  Ample trails to run here (what with all the cycling) - but you need to be careful because scooters also use the bike paths.

AM - got in very late last night after a lengthy flight delay in Amsterdam.  4 miles easy berfore an early client meeting at my office in ATL.

PM - another 4 after work.

AM - on the treadmill - 8 miles @ MP tempo after a 2 mile warm up - and the followed by a short cool down.

PM - 10 miles - second workout.  3 mile warm up then 10 x 2mins on/off and 8 x 1min on/off with a short cool down.  Legs were really tired on this one following the morning's workout.

Unexpected day off.  Had to be at work very early and then never had a break to get a run in until after dinner---and then I was unmotivated.

AM - easy 4 miles in the morning before work.  First day of Fall did not miss - had to wear a shirt, due to a bit of a chill in the air.

 

PM - good workout (~successfully executed).  2 mile warm up - then 8 x 800 at 6:20 pace - with alternating 800's at 8:20 pace - followed by fast mile at 6 min pace.  Did this on a treadmill at the gym.  Felt completely solid throughout.  Really enjoyed feeling like I am getting somewhere with my fitness.

AM - Riley came home for the weekend and wanted to go for a run with me this morning - so we did an easy 4 miles on the Milton trail.  Had a dog encounter.  Enjoyed the conversation with her.  I like it that she wants to go for runs with me when she's in town.
