PM - early morning heavy thunderstorms kept me in bed this morning, probably for the best as I got another hour and a half of sleep.  Pretty much rained all day - and I even took a nap (Bam-style) this afternoon.  Went out for an aerobic recovery run after 6 pm when the rains had stopped.  Did 12 miles fairly steady recovery pace - but felt fine.  Very buggy and stilly quite humid in the 90% range and tropical in feel.  Ran into a spider web that was so thick and strong that it kept one of my eyelids from opening until I could peel it away.  Really hoping for some fall-like weather to blow in soon....

Nothing in this entry makes me miss Florida.

58 degrees, dry, sunny for my morning run today.

You can fire back in January.

The idea of a recovery run is to clear out the cobwebs, not run into them:) Glad you've perked up and that you're feeling better - must've been the Bam-nap.

Ha! - Rob you know I left out some of the good stuff too - like squishy shoes as if you had stepped in a puddle - but you didn't. It is just that your shoes are saturated with sweat.

58 degrees and dry sounds like Nirvana about now.

Bam - you know you may have something with those naps.
