AM - 6 miles easy on a narrow/soft beach.  Little less humid.  Ran north this time and past a surfing competition that was just setting up.  Interesting spectacle.

PM - 8 miles in the afternoon heat.  Ran across the causeway from Cocoa to Merritt Island and back.  Lots of gnat swarms, completely covered with a few in my nose and eyes at the end. Delaney's team won again today and are through to the semi finals tomorrow morning.

Gnats and flies are the bane of my life. Running around the fields of Kerry, I'm always swallowing insects. In fact, I've missed my run this morning because of GI issues, which is probably down to eating flying insects.

Reports have reached these shores stating that Delaney's kicking seven bells out of the opposition and that's why Delaney's team is winning their games - the opposition teams are scared of Delaney The Dastardly Destroyer:)

More likely, it's down to Delaney's vision, cultured grace on the ball, and a plethora of sporting genes handed down to her from her mother, of course:)

There was a thread on LetsRun yesterday - something about a question for Renato Canova - and it was asking about how to work out mp when 'one' will be running faster in a few weeks time etc. Perhaps it was started by you! Might be worth keeping an eye on...

Delaney thoroughly enjoyed hearing of such reports on your shores! Hope your GI issues improve. I am quite certain that I ingested a few foreign objects myself yesterday too. Yuck.

I am not the thread starter on Letsrun - but thanks for the referral - it is certainly timely.
