AM - 6 miles easy before work with loops around the Enniswood and Autumn Woods neighborhoods.  Did not feel quite as good as I did yesterday.

PM - 8 miles easy - the "dump run".  From my office park down past the solid waste facility / landfill on a hot humid summer like day with the stench of the dump and the surrounding stagnant ditch water along the road.  Character building for sure.  Wore the ipod for a distraction.  Dylan's newest "The Tempest" - little bleak - apropos for the dump run of course.

Surprised you're listening to Dylan - I had you down as being more to the right. But that's cool if you have lefty tendancies - it adds a humane colour to your persona:) - not saying you lack humanity or anything like that. Next you'll be listening to Cohen - then you'd be really cool and know what this ride's all about.

Now, if Mr Murphy were listening to Dylan, I'd get that.

Big run planned this weekend?

My mother and father met in Greenwich village in NYC in the 60's seeing/listening to him and others like him. It was the music I heard in my house growing up. I probably went to a handful of Dylan shows with the old guy over the years before he passed away.

I think Mr. Murphy indeed listens to him.

Big run planned for tomorrow morning with Richie - 20 miles - fast at the end.

Wow, it's difficult to imagine many moments in a lifetime that could outweigh going to see Dylan with your old fella; you have my seal of approval ie you have 'my' permission to listen to Dylan:)
